I know people will say вЂњfine, just stick to the Apple App StoreвЂќ but if 3rd party stores are allowed there will be more and more developers who will not use the Apple store and within a very short time just using the Apple store wonвЂ™t be an option - all of us will have to get comfortable with multiple stores and side loading and that will mean a more complex and confusing experience for people who just want to be able to purchase and use apps safely and conveniently.

I donвЂ™t want to have to worry about if an app is safe to install - is it going to be doing anything dodgy with my personal data that I donвЂ™t know about any which no-one I trust has even made a cursory attempt to validate.
